Our Story

Inspired by the Spanish translation of "green footprint" (huella verdé), WellaVerdé (wella-VAIR-day) was founded in 2010 by two friends who shared a passion for the environment, reducing their carbon footprint, and a desire to provide eco-friendly alternatives to the products we buy and use every day. The goal was to promote sustainable living practices and provide greener alternatives to mainstream consumer products, so we can live well and leave a green footprint.

In 2014, WellaVerde became a family-owned business with expanded operations, a new logo, a wider product offering, and greater invovlement in community conservation efforts. In 2020, we closed our doors to focus on our family, health and well-being.

In 2026, with our youngest environmentalist and entrepreneur developing a passion for educating others on the importance of reducing carbon emissions, we have reopened as a source of information and inspiration.
