FabHabitat produces an eco-conscious line of indoor/outdoor woven area rugs. "Straws" made of premium quality recycled polypropylene (water bottles, milk jugs, etc.) are tightly woven into beautiful patterns. These rugs are very strong yet soft and comfortable under foot. The colors used are UV stabilized to prevent fading and deterioration from exposure to sun. Moisture has no effect and the rugs will not mildew. All rugs are washable and can be easily cleaned with a garden hose and soap. FabHabitat Rugs are lightweight and easy to take along for picnics and camping trips. The manufacturing process creates no waste: all cuttings and rejected materials are recycled and used to make more rugs. The water used does not come from drinking water resources and is continuously recycled.
