With a stand-up bamboo handle, a push button for easy soap dispensing, and bristles that are naturally tough and absorbent, the only way to make dish washing easier is to have someone else do it. Made with biodegradable plant-based plastic and renewable bamboo. When the recycled plastic and natural bristles wear out, simply replace the brush head. Brush head is dishwasher safe. Mango wood is a sustainable wood. Mango trees are initially grown for their fruit but once the trees reach a certain size and age, they stop bearing fruit. It is then that the trees can be cut down and used to create wood products. The removal of the old trees makes space for farmers to plant new mango trees. None of the wood is wasted and the sale of the wood offers supplementary income to mango farmers.

A creative re-use of of old wood from mango plantations. Both the beautiful wooden bowl and the super stylish platter are handmade from sustainable mango wood. The platter makes a great cheese board or storage for condiments or sauces and the bowl will hold a large fresh salad. Platter is 19.5"L x 9"W x 1.5"D. Bowl diameter is 11" x 2.5"D.

Medina Baskets is a small, family-run business that, for many years, has worked with the artisans of Ghana. Through Kingdom Life Ministries, a Roanoke, Virginia group, Medina has worked with local weavers in Ghana to provide home-based production of baskets made from sustainable sisal, as well as supporting community schools and hospitals. Although this is a traditional craft, Medina has designed items for the modern home, combining the skills of the traditional artisans with the aesthetic perspective of the contemporary market for a successful partnership between rural communities around the world and distributors in the United States. All products and labor are fairly traded and no child labor is exploited.
